The event was attended by Li Dongheng, Deputy Dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering; representatives from Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL); the School's employment coordinators; and more than 170 students enrolled in 2024 and 2025 from the mechanical and electrical majors.

At the beginning of the seminar, company representatives introduced CATL through a corporate promotional video, comprehensively presenting its industry position as a global leader in new energy technologies, its worldwide industrial layout, and its achievements in technological innovation. They also outlined development plans for overseas production bases in Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, and other countries. Subsequently, through a PPT presentation, the representatives provided a detailed explanation of employee benefits, working conditions, and the training program for the Tailored Class. These included enterprise participation in curriculum design, instruction and practical training delivered by technical experts from the company, competitive compensation and benefits within the industry, and clearly defined career development paths.

The interactive Q&A session generated enthusiastic participation. Students actively raised questions regarding application requirements, assessment criteria, skill certificate acquisition methods, and subsequent internship arrangements. Company representatives responded to each question in detail, helping to address students' concerns about career planning. After the seminar, many students submitted application intention forms on site, noting that the event helped them better understand industry development trends and expressing strong interest in the customized training model and employment guarantees offered by the Tailored Class.

It is reported that this seminar represents an important step in strengthening cooperation between the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and CATL. Going forward, both parties will jointly carry out student selection for the Tailored Class and further refine the training program. The School will continue to use the Tailored Class as a bridge to promote deeper integration between the education chain, talent chain, industrial chain, and innovation chain, injecting the new momentum driven by high-quality technical and skilled talent into the global development of the new energy industry.
